Former Clemson Football Safety Rob Billings has committed to G5 school, Jacksonville State. Billings arrived at Clemson with high expectations but was unable to find consistent on field snaps in a very crowded defensive back room. The redshirt sophomore committed to Clemson from Milton High School in Milton Georgia as a part of the 2023 recruiting class. In 2025 Billings Appeared in all 13 games, playing 29 defensive snaps and making four tackles.In 2024 he was credited with five tackles while playing 31 defensive snaps over 14 games including seeing action on special teams in season opener vs. No. 1 Georgia. In 2023 he played five games on special teams while redshirting.

Safety Rob Billings opted to enter the transfer portal after the Pinstripe bowl joining safeties Ricardo Jones who committed to Vanderbilt and Khalil Barnes who went to Georgia in doing so.
