Purdue football welcoming several top prospects among big recruiting visitor weekend

WEST LAFAYETTE — It’s a big recruiting weekend for Purdue football with No. 1 Ohio State visiting Ross-Ade Stadium on Saturday.

An expected 68 high school prospects will be on campus to see the Boilermakers, among them seven members of Purdue’s 2026 recruiting class and 2028 verbal commit Seven Rashad.

A large 2027 visitor list includes numerous marquee members of that class, including defensive end Jayce Brewer making his second visit this season. Brewer previously visited Purdue on Sept. 6. The Indianapolis native and four-star target has 26 offers, including Purdue’s Saturday opponent, as does four star offensive lineman Dewey Young

Three 2027 quarterbacks also will be in West Lafayette, four star Ben Musser from Georgia, RJ Day from Columbus, Ohio, and Emmett Queen from Fort Mitchell, Kentucky. Two in-state QBs also will be in Ross-Ade Stadium, 2028 Chase Grove and 2029 Deaken Johnson.
