Nebraska, Matt Rhule to Host Intriguing 5-Star Visitor Saturday

Ruston, La., native Ahmad Hudson is checking out Lincoln for Nebraska vs. USC — with Mike Roach of 247Sports confirming his future arrival for the Big Ten showdown.

"Nebraska is preparing for a big weekend in Lincoln, hosting Big Ten bunkmate USC, and the Huskers are looking to host a big recruiting weekend in conjunction with that game. Perhaps the most sought after target on campus for Matt Rhule and his staff will be Ruston (La.) High five-star Ahmad Hudson," Roach wrote.

Hudson is additionally the No. 2 overall prospect from the state of Louisiana per 247Sports. The Ruston High standout holds 26 total offers. Where do the 'Huskers stand among his list of options?

"The class of 2027's top tight end holds Nebraska in high regard, and the Huskers are doing what they can to land him," Roach said.

Nebraska can even attempt to take advantage amid the big notable change in the Bayou State via Brian Kelly.

"As with any Louisiana prospect, getting him away from LSU is a task, but Nebraska hopes to take advantage of this weekend while the Tigers are without a head coach," Roach said.

Visitor List Includes High-Profile Brother of Nebraska Player

Hudson isn't the only eye-opening visitor ahead of Saturday.

Per Husker247, Dayton Raiola will be in the house — better known as the three-star brother of Nebraska starting quarterback Dylan. The younger Raiola is one of six visitors on tap for the game.

Meanwhile, East Carolina linebacker commit LJ Porter is another confirmed visitor. Four-star defensive tackle for the 2027 class Malachi Brown is coming in too via Corbin, Ky.

Lastly, Florida State '27 commit Bryce Williams in one more set to take in the sights and sounds of "Go Big Red."
