Tennessee football offers 2027 New Jersey offensive tackle

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to four-star offensive tackle Oluwasemilore Olubobola.

“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Olubobola announced.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound prospect is from St. Peter’s Preparatory School in Jersey City, New Jersey. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 7 offensive tackle in the class and No. 2 player in New Jersey.

Rutgers was the first school to offer Olubobola a scholarship on Feb. 1, 2024. Other schools to offer him scholarships include Syracuse, Boston College, Duke, Texas A&M, Penn State, Ohio State, Charlotte, Temple, Wake Forest, South Carolina, Minnesota, Oregon, Illinois, UCF, Texas, Miami, Auburn, Pittsburgh, Wisconsin, Florida State, San Diego State, Southern Miss, Florida International, Michigan, Michigan State, Florida, Nebraska, Virginia Tech and Kentucky.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
