Heisman-winning Alabama RB Mark Ingram named to College Football Hall of Fame

Another Alabama football player is heading to the College Football Hall of Fame.
Former Crimson Tide running back and Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram is one of 22 inductees in the 2026 National Football Foundation Hall of Fame class, the NFF announced Wednesday, Jan. 14.

Ingram is one of 28 former Alabama players or coaches in the College Football Hall of Fame along with recent inductees Antonio Langham and Nick Saban.
The class will officially be indicted Dec. 8, 2026 in Las Vegas.

In 39 games at Alabama, Ingram had 3,261 rushing yards and 46 total touchdowns.
Ingram won the Heisman in 2009, helping lead Alabama to a BCS National Championship with 1,658 rushing yards and 17 rushing touchdowns.
Ingram’s 42 rushing touchdowns are third-most in Alabama history, and his 3,261 rushing yards are seventh-most by an Alabama back.
Ingram was the No. 28 overall pick by the New Orleans Saints in the 2010 NFL draft and played 12 NFL seasons.
