A former Clemson linebacker is set to continue his career out west. Dee Crayton has transferred to UNLV after spending the last three seasons with the Tigers.

Crayton saw limited action during the 2025 season, appearing in 11 games as a redshirt sophomore. He finished the year with eight total tackles while playing 79 defensive snaps. His most productive outing came against North Carolina, where he recorded four tackles. He also added two stops at Boston College and two more against Furman.

Across his first two years at Clemson from 2023–24, Crayton totaled 25 tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss while playing in 19 games. He redshirted during the 2023 season, appearing in five games, before seeing a larger role in 2024 with action in 14 contests.

Crayton originally committed to Clemson in June of 2022 out of Denmark High School in Georgia. He was rated as a three-star prospect in the 2023 recruiting class and put together an impressive senior season, recording 75 tackles, 20 tackles for loss, and four sacks. He also added two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, along with four forced fumbles.

He now joins a UNLV program coming off a strong 10-4 season in 2025, the Rebels’ first year under head coach Dan Mullen. UNLV reached the Mountain West Championship Game before falling to Boise State, closing out one of the most successful seasons in program history.
