AUBURN — Another transfer is joining Auburn football‘s offensive line in Oregon State’s Jacob Strand, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser on Thursday, Jan. 15.
Strand’s the 26th addition to Auburn‘s transfer class, and he’s the fifth offensive lineman of the bunch, joining a pair of South Florida transplants in Cole Best and Cole Skinner, as well as James Madison transfer Joseph Simmons and Michigan State transfer Stanton Ramil.
Strand, who has one season of eligibility remaining, played in six games for the Beavers last season, starting at left tackle. He surrendered just eight pressures in 169 opportunities, according to Pro Football Focus, and he’s surrendered just one sack in four seasons.
