Alabama defensive back Cam Calhoun has officially committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes, per On3's Hayes Fawcett.

Calhoun was a non-factor for the majority of the 2025 campaign. The former Michigan Wolverine totaled 27 tackles and 10 pass deflections throughout the past two seasons, as Calhoun will join the Buckeyes with two years of eligibility remaining. Calhoun appeared in 14 games for the Crimson Tide throughout his sophomore season, as the talented defensive back struggled to make a true impact in the Alabama secondary.

A former four-star recruit, Calhoun was ranked as the No. 41 cornerback and the No. 397 overall player from the class of 2023, per the 247Sports Composite rankings. Calhoun appeared in two games for the 2023 national championship Michigan team prior to transferring to Utah, as the ex-Ute committed to the Tide following just one year at both Michigan and Utah.

Alabama has lost a number of players on both sides of the football throughout the offseason, as Calhoun has officially seen his time with the Crimson Tide come to an end.
