LSU football continues to build one of the best transfer portal classes in the country, securing a commitment from former Oregon tight end Zach Grace. The news was reported by On3's Hayes Fawcett.
Grace played 60 offensive snaps with the Ducks in 2025, appearing in all 14 games. He posted a 56.8 PFF offensive grade. Grace was a redshirt sophomore this past fall and brings two years of eligibility to LSU. He played 101 snaps in his time at Oregon.
Grace is the second tight end to join LSU's transfer class. Earlier this month, the Tigers signed former Pitt tight end Malachi Thomas. The pair complements LSU's rising star tight end Trey'Dez Green.
Green is an elite receiver, but LSU needed a couple of guys who fit the classic tight end mold. LSU has depth at the position now and it wouldn't be a surprise to see Kiffin and LSU OC Charlie Weis showcase a good bit of 12 personnel in 2026.
