STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football is reportedly hosting one of the top players in the transfer portal on a visit.
Jordan Seaton, an offensive tackle from Colorado, is visiting MSU according to a report from ESPN’s Pete Thamel on Jan. 15.
Seaton is ranked as the No. 4 player in the transfer portal, according to 247Sports, and the No. 1 offensive tackle. The only players ranked ahead of him are quarterbacks Sam Leavitt, Brendan Sorsby and Drew Mestemaker.
The Bulldogs have a connection to Seaton through offensive line coach Phil Loadholt, who coached at Colorado in 2024.
Seaton played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Colorado and was immediately an impact player. In 2024, Seaton started 13 games and was an All-Big 12 honorable mention. This season, he started the first nine games of the season before suffering an injury. Seaton was still an All-Big 12 second team selection after allowing only one sack.
Seaton is measured at 6-foot-5, 330 pounds and was the No. 1 offensive tackle in the 2024 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports Composite. He played at IMG Academy in Florida but is originally from Washington D.C.
