NORMAN — Jack Van Dorselaer is headed to Oklahoma.

The former Tennessee true freshman tight end has committed to the Sooners, he announced Friday morning.

Dorselaer is a 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end from Southlake, Texas. He logged five catches for 23 yards and a touchdown for the Volunteers in 2025, playing in every game. Dorselaer dropped a key fourth-down pass in the fourth quarter of Tennessee’s loss to OU this past season.

Dorselaer has three years of eligibility remaining. He is new position coach Jason Witten’s first tight end commitment on the recruiting trail.

The Sooners have completely rebuilt their tight end unit by hiring Witten and landing Florida transfer Hayden Hansen (over 6-foot-7), Colorado State transfer Rocky Beers (6-foot-5) and now Dorselaer.

Dorselaer visited OU on Thursday. He is the Sooners’ 14th commitment out of the portal.
