AUBURN — Ole Miss transfer Da’Shawn Womack has signed with Auburn football, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser, giving the Tigers a significant addition on the front seven a day after the transfer portal’s close.

With Womack in the fold, Auburn‘s up to 30 incoming transfers, and he ranks as the third-highest-rated of those, according to 247Sports. Before his signing, Womack was considered the seventh-best player remaining in the portal.

A productive of St. Frances Academy in Baltimore, which has been a pipeline for DJ Durkin and Auburn’s defense in recent seasons, Womack signed with LSU out of high school. A consensus top-100 player nationally, he spent two seasons in Baton Rouge, but he transferred to Ole Miss after playing just eight games for LSU in 2024.

In his one season with the Rebels, Womack was notably productive, posting career bests in total tackles (27), tackles for loss (4.5) and sacks (2).
