Lane Kiffin continues to reshape LSU football's roster through the transfer portal. In a move that may have flown under the radar, LSU added former Baylor athlete Mason Dosset to its roster last week.
Dossett, originally from Texas, was a three-star recruit in the class of 2025. On3 ranked Dossett as the No. 325 wide receiver in the country coming out of Ride Point High School in Missouri City, Texas.
Now, as a transfer, Dosset is the 367th-ranked wideout in the class and No. 2526 overall transfer. He joins an LSU transfer class that is the best in the nation, per 247Sports' transfer portal rankings. Dossett is one of 38 transfer additions set to join LSU's roster, and that number could keep growing in the coming days.
Dossett saw action in one game at Baylor in 2025, seeing the field for two snaps vs Samford in Week 3.
Dossett will be a depth piece for LSU, at least for the immediate future, but he's athletic and brings upside to LSU's wide receiving room and will have a chance to carve out a role on special teams.
