Caitlin Clark, John Mellencamp: Indiana celebrities wish Hoosiers luck in championship

Indiana football keeps receiving well-wishes ahead of its bout with Miami in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game tonight at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.

The state has rallied around the Hoosiers during their playoff run. Several high schools pushed basketball games to later dates so fans could avoid conflicts with Indiana’s Peach Bowl appearance, others have delayed the start of classes on Tuesday to accommodate the later start time for tonight’s game, and Hoosier cream and crimson can be found just about everywhere you look.

Indiana has received some good luck wishes from big names in the state as well. Caitlin Clark, star of the WNBA’s Indiana Fever, wished the Hoosiers well ahead of the game on Twitter:

Tyrese Haliburton, star of the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, shared a similar message while arriving at a game earlier this month:

Singer-songwriter John Mellencamp, whose name is attached to Indiana’s practice facility after donating the necessary funds for its construction and is known for his southern Indiana roots, shared the following photo on social media this morning:

Additionally, Indiana shared the following video of the athletics department’s non-football coaches wishing the Hoosiers well ahead of the game:
