Winnacunnet beats Exeter, 34-14; Nashua South routs Londonderry; Trinity pulls away from Hanover

Dom Mancini ran for four touchdowns and quarterback Sean Griffin tossed a 60-yard TD pass to Jaxon McDonald as eighth-seeded Winnacunnet beat ninth-seeded Exeter 34-14 in the first round of the Division I playoffs on Friday night in Hampton.

Mancini scored on runs of 10 yards, 31 yards, 2 yards and 1 yard.

Exeter scored on a 7-yard pass from quarterback Tyler Ream to Will Tobin, and on Max Corzatt's 28-yard run. The Warriors scored the only two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to pull away.

Winnacunnet will play at top-seeded Bedford in the quarterfinals.

Nashua South 44, Londonderry 15: The Panthers' quartet of quarterback Cody Jackson, running back Sam Levine and receivers Justin Fish and Colvin Levesque put on a offensive show as the fourth-seeded hosts routed the 13th-seeded Lancers at Stellos Stadium.

Jackson passed for 254 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 73 yards and two scores; Levine ran for 129 yards and a TD; Fish had a rushing TD, two scoring catches and 101 yards receiving, and Levesque finished with 102 yards receiving and a score.

South, which led 31-7 at halftime and after three quarters, advanced to host the winner of Saturday's Bishop Guertin-Nashua North contest next Friday night.

Lancers QB Sully Daron passed 27 yards to tight end Davis Magarian for one TD and ran 7 yards for another.

Trinity 42, Hanover 28: In Manchester, senior captain and quarterback Ollie Service propelled the Pioneers to the Division II quarterfinal win, rushing for four touchdowns over the final 14:30 of play. Service's first of his four second-half rushing TDs and teammate Connor Bishop's point-after kick put the Pioneers ahead, 22-21, with 2:30 left in the third quarter. No. 2 seed Trinity (9-1) never trailed from then on.

Service finished with 262 yards, including TDs from 1, 33, 55 and 87 yards out, on 15 carries. He also went 6 of 9 passing for 119 yards, including a 65-yard score to Davey Durepo.

Seventh-seeded Hanover (5-5) had a 21-15 lead at halftime but was shut out in the second half until a 9-yard rushing score from quarterback EJ Frechette that came with 7.7 seconds left. Frechette ran for two touchdowns and went 13 of 23 passing for 177 yards, including a 14-yard TD pass to Roy Lucas. Bears senior John Taylor ran 33 times for 164 yards and a touchdown.
