Florida A&M’s new head football coach, Quinn Gray Sr., is bringing in his first crop of Rattlers.
Since Gray’s hire last December, FAMU has netted around 15 players and counting to the roster via the NCAA Transfer Portal, which closed for entry on Jan. 16.
The latest commitment came from Tamez Young, a tight end from Florida Atlantic. Young announced he was joining the Rattlers on Monday, Jan. 19.
Headlining FAMU’s newcomers thus far is Albany State transfer quarterback Isaiah Knowles, who won the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference’s Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 and 2025 for Gray’s Golden Rams teams.
