The last of the Alabama high school football accolades for the 2025 season will finish at the Alabama Sports Writers Association awards banquet on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at the Montgomery Renaissance Hotel and Conference Center in Montgomery.
The 42 best high school football players in Class 1-7A in the AHSAA, and the six best players in the AISA will gather to be honored for their accomplishments on the football field during the 2025 high school season. In each classification, a Back of the Year and Lineman of the Year will be chosen, with the coveted Mr. Football award to be named at the banquet as well. Rounding out the accolades will be the Super 12 team, headlined by Mr. Football and the 12 best players in the state.
Former Saraland quarterback KJ Lacey claimed the Mr. Football award for the 2024 season. Follow along as the Montgomery Advertiser tracks all the winners during the banquet.
