Where Vanderbilt women rank in college basketball polls after beating Michigan

Vanderbilt women's basketball moved up to No. 4 in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll after a neutral-site win over Michigan.

The Commodores (19-0) moved ahead of Texas in the Jan. 19 poll after the week, which also included a road win at Mississippi State.

Vanderbilt remained at No. 5 in the AP poll, which was released before the game against Michigan.

Mikayla Blakes scored 38 in the win in Starkville, while Aubrey Galvan led scorers with 20 against Michigan. Blakes was named SEC Co-Player of the Week and Galvan was named SEC Co-Freshman of the Week.
