Colorado‘s 2026 transfer portal class has 43 commitments as of Jan. 20.
The group is headlined by wide receiver DeAndre Moore Jr. (Texas), safety Boo Carter (Tennessee), linebacker Liona Lefau (Texas), wide receiver Danny Scudero (San Jose State), and offensive tackles Jayven Richardson (Missouri) and Taj White (Rutgers).
Those 43 additions are replacing nearly 40 departures, all of whom left the program during the two-week transfer portal period. That roster overhaul will lead to almost every defensive position having a new starter, and multiple offensive positions having new faces as well.
Colorado’s success during the 2026 season will almost entirely be defined by the transfer class’s performance and the coaching staff’s ability to get the most out of the group. After a 3-9 season, head coach Deion Sanders altered the program’s roster-building strategy in what was arguably his most pivotal offseason as the Buffaloes’ head coach.
For some context on how the class is viewed nationally, here is where it stands in 247Sports and On3’s updated rankings.
