MSU football re-offers highly-coveted safety from Texas

Michigan State football has re-offered a highly-coveted safety from the Lone Star State.

James Roberson of Allen, Texas announced on Tuesday that he has been re-offered by the new Michigan State football coaching staff. Roberson was previously offered by the last coaching staff, and on Tuesday the new staff reaffirmed their interest in his talents.

Roberson is listed as a three-star safety in the 2027 class, according to 247Sports. He is ranked as the No. 53 safety and No. 534 overall prospect in the class.

Michigan State is one of more than 20 schools to extend an offer to Roberson, according to 247Sports. He also holds notable offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Arkansas, Auburn, Baylor, Duke, Houston, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, TCU, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, SMU and Oregon State.
