Auburn football lands Akron transfer OL Kenneth McManus

Auburn football has signed Akron transfer offensive lineman Kenneth McManus, per Jeffery Lee of Auburn Sports.
McManus spent one season in Akron and played in 12 games total. His time with the Zips, he served as a left guard and started six games. According to Pro Football Focus, McManus gave up one sack and 14 quarterback pressures on 271 snaps.
Coach Alex Golesh and his staff add another piece to the offensive line out of the transfer portal. McManus marks the eighth offensive lineman signed this portal cycle. The Tigers have signed Cole Best (USF), TJ Hedrick (Ole Miss), Jack Leyrer (Stanford), Stanton Ramil (Michigan State), Joseph Simmons (James Madison), Cole Skinner (USF), and Jacob Strand (Oregon State) to protect newly acquired quarterback Byrum Brown next season.
Auburn will see many new names next season taking the field in oranger and blue. The Tigers lost 37 players to the transfer portal and now are at a total of 34 incoming transfer.
