Laney hires former New Hanover DC Coraey Houser as next football coach

The final Wilmington-area high school football head coaching vacancy has officially been filled. Former New Hanover defensive coordinator Coraey Houser will become Laney High School's third football coach in as many years, athletic director Fred Lynch announced via social media on Wednesday, Jan. 21.
The move comes just one day after fellow Wilmington team Ashley hired former Hoggard offensive coordinator Adam Parzitza to take over control of the Screaming Eagles.
Corey Houser has been selected to become the Head Football Coach at Laney HS
Coach Houser has previously been the DC at New Hanover.
