Now we know what it takes to make Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti happy.
Natalie Cignetti, the coach's daughter, has proof.
She shared a couple of screen shots of text exchanges after the Hoosiers beat Miami in the College Football Playoffnational championship game.
In one from 2019, after a Football Championship Subdivision playoff victory with his first James Madison team, she texted "are you happy!!!" at the end.
Curt Cignetti's response: "No."
Fast-forward to early Tuesday morning, as the Hoosiers are celebrating their undefeated season.
Natalie asks: "So… are you happy???"
The answer: "Yes ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️"
Curt Cignetti looks perpetually perturbed on the sideline, frequently scowling with his fists on his hips. But a national title gets a smile out of him.
Since everyone is wondering… Yes‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ https://t.co/THqh7Ah3cVpic.twitter.com/rklLOdpbRG
