Jeremy Reed has been named the offensive coordinator for Muskogee’s football program, the school announced Tuesday.

Reed spent the last three years at Altus before he announced he was stepping down on Jan. 12 following an 8-3 season.

That was Reed’s second stint at the school after leading the program from 2014-15 and leading the Bulldogs to the Class 5A title in 2015. He was named The Oklahoman's All-State Coach of the Year that season.

Between his stops in Altus, Reed was at Lake Hamilton (Arkansas) in 2016 and at Yukon from 2017-20 before serving as an assistant at Bethel College in Kansas.

Reed’s son, Jeymon Reed, is one of the top players in the 2029 class and will come with him to Muskogee, which is coming off its first season under former Wagoner coach Dale Condict

Jeymon Reed, who has several Division I offers including the addition of Colorado on Wednesday, completed 62.2% of his passes for 2,984 yards and 34 touchdowns this past season. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 185 pounds, he also ran for 750 yards and 15 scores on 94 carries and had three catches for 128 yards and a touchdown.
