Florida football is putting the finishing touches on its 2026 transfer portal class after the portal window from Jan. 2-16 expired last week.

Some players are still entering the portal this week due to compliance offices filing paperwork after the three-day holiday weekend. Players in the portal that remain unsigned can land with schools up until National Signing Day on Feb. 5, depending on the school’s add/drop policies for the spring semester.

To date, the Florida Gators have added 25 scholarship transfers to replace the 28 scholarship players who left the program to enter the portal. First-year UF coach Jon Sumrall and general manager Dave Caldwell have worked together to determine the value of players that fit the scheme and culture that they want to build within the program.

Florida retained a handful of key players from its 2025 roster, including running back Jadan Baugh, linebacker Myles Graham, wide receiver Dallas Wilson, wide receiver Vernell Brown III and edge rusher Jayden Woods.

Of Florida’s 25 transfer scholarship commitments/signings, 247Sports rated none as five-stars and just one as a four-star − Auburn wide receiver Eric Singleton. There are 19 3-stars in the class, including Georgia Tech quarterback Aaron Philo and Kentucky safety Cam Dooley.

Florida’s transfer class, per247, ranks 11th out of 16 SEC schools, behind LSU (1), Ole Miss (2), Texas (3), Kentucky (9), Texas A&M (11), Auburn (12), Alabama (17), South Carolina (20), Tennessee (21) and Missouri (23).

Where On3 rates Florida football transfer class

On3 has a different view of UF’s 2026 portal class, ranking it as the 12th-best in FBS.

Of Florida’s 25 transfer scholarship commitments/signings, On3 rates three as four-stars and 22 as three-stars. The three four-stars in UF’s 2026 portal class, per On3, are Auburn wide receiver Eric Singleton, Kentucky safety Cam Dooley and Baylor defensive back DJ Coleman.

Per On3, Florida’s transfer class ranks fifth-best in the SEC, behind Texas A&M (3), LSU (4), Texas (8) and Arkansas (9).
