LSU football picked up a commitment from transfer portal linebacker Theo Grace, announced Tuesday by the team’s social media account. The rising sophomore brings four years of eligibility.
Grace played his true freshman season at North Dakota. He appeared in one game and made one tackle, including half a tackle for loss. The Fighting Hawks’ roster page lists him at six-foot-one and 220 pounds.
Hailing from Kearney, MO, Grace recorded 124 tackles as a senior in high school during 2024. His announcement follows that of his brother, tight end Zach Grace, who transferred to LSU following three seasons at Oregon.
Theo is the second linebacker picked up out of the portal by the Tigers. Former Ole Miss defender T.J. Dottery preceded him, committing on January 17. While the position hasn’t been a priority for Lane Kiffin in the portal, LSU is losing starter Harold Perkins and potentially Whit Weeks.
