Former Nebraska defender transfers to LSU for 2026 season

A former Nebraska pass rusher will play in the SEC in 2026. Princewill Umanmielen will transfer to LSU after playing for Ole Miss in 2025.
Umanmielen spent his first two seasons at Nebraska before transferring to Ole Miss. In 23 games with the Cornhuskers, he recorded 35 tackles, 7.0 for loss and 1.5 sacks.
Last season for the Rebels, he played in 15 games and had 44 tackles, 13.0 for loss and 9.0 sacks. Now, he follows his former Ole Miss head coach, Lane Kiffin, to Baton Rouge for the final season of his college career.
