Tennessee offers 2027 in-state quarterback committed to SEC school

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class. The Vols offered a scholarship to Ole Miss four-star quarterback commit Keegan Croucher on Friday.
“Blessed to receive an offer from Vol football,” Croucher announced. “Thank you coach Joey Halzle and coach Josh Heupel.”
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound prospect is from Fonda, New York. He attended Cheshire Academy in Cheshire, Connecticut before transferring to Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
“I’m blessed to announce, I’ll be transferring to The Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee, to finish out my high school career,” Croucher announced on Dec. 12, 2025.
247Sports ranks him as the No. 16 quarterback in 2027. Ole Miss offered Croucher a scholarship on March 1, 2025. He committed to the Rebels on Oct. 5, 2025.
Indiana was the first school to offer him a scholarship on May 16, 2024. Other schools to offer the 2027 prospect scholarships include Michigan, Syracuse, Minnesota, UMass, Michigan State, Nebraska, Virginia, Oregon, Kentucky, Connecticut, Cincinnati, Memphis, Virginia Tech, Miami, UCLA, Georgia, North Carolina, Penn State and Arkansas.
Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
