AUBURN — Defensive lineman Dallas Walker IV will return to Auburn football for the 2026 season after being granted an extra year of eligibility, a source confirmed to the Montgomery Advertiser.
After losing six defensive linemen from last season's roster, Walker, who's entering his fifth season of college football, fulfills a need for experience in Auburn's defensive trenches. He's one of just four defensive tackles returning from 2025, joining a trio of rising sophomores.
Walker's career has been extensive. He signed with Texas A&M as a four-star prospect out of high school, but in two years with the Aggies, he played in just two games. He transferred to Western Kentucky ahead of the 2023 season, and in two seasons with the Hilltoppers, he generated 58 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss.
He played in 12 games last fall for Auburn, though he mustered just 13 tackles.
