The Georgia Bulldogs still have some unfinished business in the class of 2026. Georgia and coach Kirby Smart have signed 28 of their 31 commitments in the 2026 recruiting cycle.
Who is left for Georgia to sign? The Bulldogs are still awaiting official signatures from defensive back Chace Calicut, punter Wade Register and long snapper Colton Dermer.
National Signing Day is Wednesday, Feb. 4. It is no longer what it once was. Of 247Sports’ top-100 recruits, just one player is uncommitted or unsigned.
Still, Georgia can help replace All-SEC specialists Brett Thorson (punter) and Beau Gardner (long snapper) on signing day. All three of Georgia’s unsigned recruits are ranked as three-star recruits.
Calicut dealt with a legal issue, which led to his signing being delayed. Register is the nation’s No. 1 punter and would compete with Drew Miller and Carter Horton for the starting punter role at UGA. Dermer is the nation’s No. 5 long snapper. He would compete with Will Snellings for the starting role.
Georgia has the nation’s No. 6 recruiting class. The Bulldogs also have the No. 32 transfer class and the No. 10 overall class (combines recruiting and transfers). At this time, Georgia has no major recruiting targets left in the class of 2026.
