Alabama defensive tackle Tim Keenan lll took a moment to speak with the media recently at the Senior Bowl.
Keenan was elite throughout his entire five-year tenure in Tuscaloosa. At 6'2", 335 pounds, Keenan is an extremely talented big man that could quickly begin to thrive on the professional level. The star lineman recorded 16 total tackles and two sacks across 12 appearances in 2025, as Keenan played a crucial role on the Alabama defensive line when fully healthy.
Keenan was able to share his thoughts on Kalen DeBoer while speaking with the media on Wednesday, as Keenan praised the Alabama head coach for his efforts throughout the 2025 campaign.
"He never said he wanted to go to another school, he made it clear that he said that," Keenan stated. "Coach DeBoer has been nothing but the greatest coach ever, as far as getting his players going and connecting with his players, and then allowing his best players to be his best players."
"So coach DeBoer, I don't have a bad thing to say about him. He was locked in the day he took the job. He was under a lot of fire and all that stuff, but I promise you he's going to come out of it way stronger, and a lot of people are going to eat the words that they had to say about him."
DeBoer and the Tide went 11-4 throughout 15 games of play last season. Keenan was a difference maker throughout the majority of the year, as the star will more than likely continue to play at an extremely high level in the NFL.
Alabama will kickoff the 2026 campaign on Sept. 5 against East Carolina, as DeBoer and his coaching staff will look to thrive in his third season as the head coach of the Tide.
