Meet the Jacksonville area's best in FCS college football

The Times-Union selects its annual All-FCS team for the 2025 season, featuring the year's top college football players in the Football Championship Subdivision from high schools in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.

The season was an especially strong one for Jacksonville-area players on the offensive line, including FCS All-American Mike Bartilucci and Campbell Trophy finalist Chandler Kirton. Both played high school football at Fletcher.

OFFENSE

QB Ethan Drumm, Fr., Wofford, Bolles

Played in two games, completing 19 of 42 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns.

RB Jordan Triplett, So., Cornell, Frederica Academy

Led Big Red in rushing, carrying 98 times for 454 yards and 5 TD in seven games; also caught 14 passes for 145 yards.

WR Kareem Burke, Jr., Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Raines

Caught 35 passes for 494 yards and two touchdowns, and gained 274 yards with a TD on returns; entering transfer portal.

WR Kalvin Gilbert, So., Southeast Missouri St., Ribault

Caught 46 passes for 653 yards and 7 TD; honorable mention All-OVC/Big South.

WR Tristen Riley, Gr., Bryant, Mandarin

Bulldogs' reception leader caught 46 passes for 483 yards and 2 TD in 12 games.

WR Michael Rossin, Fr., W. Carolina, Suwannee

Caught 22 passes for 462 yards and six touchdowns in nine games.

OL Reed Collins, Sr., Lafayette, Bolles

Played in 12 games as tackle and guard; potential graduate transfer.

OL Mike Bartilucci, Gr., The Citadel, Fletcher

Won SoCon Jacobs Blocking Award, starting 12 games on offensive line; American Football Coaches Association All-American.

OL Chandler Kirton, Gr., Austin Peay, Fletcher

Austin Peay's first NFF National Scholar-Athlete and William V. Campbell Trophy finalist; started all 12 games.

OL Zach Watson, So.*, W. Carolina, Ware County

Started all 12 games, playing both center and guard; second-team All-SoCon.

OL Marcello Coleman, So.*, Presbyterian, Atlantic Coast

Versatile offensive lineman played in 12 games; honorable mention All-PFL.

OL Zach Marshall, Fr., Texas Southern, Bartram Trail

Won job as true freshman center, starting 10 games.

K Kaleb Robison, So., N.C. Central, Middleburg

Converted 18 of 24 field goals and punted 41 times for a 41.2 average; first-team All-MEAC.

LS Clayton Thomas Jr., Gr., Austin Peay, Trinity Christian

Played all 12 games as long snapper.

DEFENSE

DL Shaku Sangarie, Jr., Drake, Atlantic Coast

Finished with 34 tackles (five for loss) and 2 1/2 sacks in 11 games.

DL Hayden Schwartz, Jr.*, Montana, Bolles

Played in 14 games with 27 tackles (4 1/2 for loss), three sacks and an interception for FCS semifinalists.

DL Demetrius Baldwin, Fr.*, Furman, Ware County

Made 30 tackles (3 1/2 for loss) with a sack and forced fumble in 12 games; SoCon All-Freshman selection.

DL Jordan Swain, Sr.*, Mercer, Glynn Academy

Recorded 30 tackles, seven for loss, with 3 1/2 sacks, two pass breakups and a safety in 12 games; second-team All-SoCon.

LB Trooper Price, Jr., Colgate, Ponte Vedra

Defensive team captain had 77 tackles, 4 1/2 for loss, and two interceptions in 12 games.

LB Sterling Roberts, Sr.*, Prairie View A&M, Bradford

Played all 14 games with 76 tackles (8 1/2 for loss), 3 1/2 sacks, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

DB Caleb Francis, Sr., Presbyterian, Jackson

Grabbed a team-high five interceptions with 26 tackles in 12 games; first-team All-PFL.

DB Kemani Wilson, Jr., Drake, Bolles

DB Kensly Johnson, Sr., East Tennessee St., Trinity Christian

Made 37 tackles, six pass breakups and an interception in 12 games.

DB Akil Lampley, Gr., Wagner, Sandalwood

Recorded 64 tackles, an interception, a fumble recovery and five pass breakups in 10 games.

DB Cornelius Davis Jr., Jr., Prairie View A&M, Fletcher

Made 30 tackles and an interception in 11 games.

ATH Jayden Drayton, Jr., Penn, Brunswick

Made 44 tackles and 11 pass breakups in 10 games, along with 293 yards (22.5 average) on kickoff returns.

KR T.J. Mitchell III, Fr.*, E. Kentucky, Brunswick

Made one reception for 6 yards in 11 games and gained 325 yards with a TD on kick returns; second-team UAC honoree is entering transfer portal.
