MANHATTAN — Over 30 players entered the transfer portal after the 2025 Kansas State football season, leaving during an offseason in which Collin Klein was hired to replace Chris Klieman as head coach.

Some players are more impactful than others. Some were told they wouldn’t have a spot on the 2026 roster, as K-State hopes to improve after going 6-6 last season. Some decided the grass may be greener elsewhere.
