Michigan football sent four players to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl, and it appeared as if four more were headed to the Senior Bowl in Alabama.

But now, you can make that five.

Though he didn't quite have the breakout season that many had hoped for, wide receiver Donaven McCulley was a solid pass catcher for the Wolverines this year after coming aboard from Indiana, where he was once a quarterback. According to On3 college football insider Pete Nakos, McCulley has been accepted as a late addition to the Senior Bowl roster and is set to play in Saturday's game.

He's also accepted an invitation to the NFL scouting combine, per Nakos.

In 2025, McCulley was the second pass catcher (behind Andrew Marsh) with 39 catches for 588 yards and three touchdowns. At 6-foot-5, McCulley was a big target who showcased good hands. But the offense had moments of languishing where he either wasn't targeted or couldn't come down with catches.

His best game as a Wolverine came in Week 6 when Michigan hosted Wisconsin. He finished that game with six catches for 112 yards. He appeared in all 13 games and had at least one catch in each.
