It’s signing day for college football.

That doesn’t mean much in this day and age of the sport, where early signing day dominates the headlines and players who move schools in the transfer portal can sign ahead of the Feb. 4 signing day. Memphis has signed dozens of players in the transfer portal and retained most of its early signing day class, so it’ll be a quiet day for new coach Charles Huff and the Tigers.

There’s only one player committed to Memphis in the 2026 class who has not yet signed — offensive lineman Matt Murphy, who committed to the Tigers on Feb. 1.

Huff is expected to address the media to talk about Memphis’ transfer class. That class includes quarterbacks Marcus Stokes and Air Noland as well as running back Dallan Hayden, defensive end J’Mond Tapp, linebacker Michael Montgomery, safety Ian Foster and many more.

Who has Memphis signed so far

Here’s a list of players the Tigers have signed in the transfer portal.

Where Memphis falls in recruiting rankings

Memphis is third in the American Conference for its 2026 class, according to the 247Sports Composite. The Tigers are behind Temple and Tulane. But those rankings are only for high school signees and do not take the transfer portal into account.
