Trio of Auburn baseball sophomores garner preseason All-SEC honors

AUBURN — The young core of Auburn baseball‘s latest squad — sophomores Bub Terrell, Chase Fralick and Chris Rembert — were named preseason All-SEC by the league’s coaches Thursday, Feb. 5, as the conference announced preseason all-conference honors and predicted order of finish.

Rembert was named first team All-SEC, and Fralick and Terrell were named second team. Auburn was also picked to finish fifth in the SEC this year, marking its highest predicted order of finish since at least 2005.

Each of Auburn‘s all-league honorees were named to the SEC’s SEC All-Freshman team last season, as they combined to hit .327 with 48 doubles, 19 home runs and 128 RBIs.
