Indiana football is ranked at No. 2 for a fourth straight week in the US LBM Coaches Poll.

The Hoosiers (10-0, 7-0 Big Ten) escaped Beaver Stadium with a 27-24 victory over Penn State after squandering a 13-point lead in the fourth quarter. They needed a 10-play, 80-yard drive in the final minutes to remain undefeated and match the best start in program history.

Indiana is one of three undefeated Power Four teams (Ohio State and Texas A&M) left in the country. BYU dropped off the list thanks to a 29-7 loss to Texas Tech. The Buckeyes retained the top spot in this week’s coaches poll while the Aggies remained at No. 3.

The top three teams in the poll are identical to the College Football Playoff rankings released last week. The top four ranked teams in the country received first-round byes.
