2027 Georgia running back names Tennessee football in top four schools

Tennessee is recruiting toward its 2027 football signing class.

Four-star running back Andrew Beard named Tennessee in his top four schools, along with Georgia, Clemson and Florida, according to Hayes Fawcett of On3. He will visit Tennessee on June 19, according to Tom Loy of 247Sports.

The 5-foot-9, 197-pound prospect is from Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Georgia. 247Sports ranks him as the No. 4 running back in the class and No. 6 player in Georgia.

Tennessee offered Beard a scholarship on May 8, 2024. He has visited Tennessee four times, including for the 2024 Kent State and 2025 Georgia football games.

Georgia was the first school to offer Beard a scholarship on June 8, 2023. Other Power Four schools to offer him scholarships include Arkansas, Miami, Oklahoma, Indiana, West Virginia, Alabama, Penn State, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, Florida State, Cincinnati, Duke, Michigan, Stanford, Louisville, Wisconsin, Maryland and Virginia Tech.

Tennessee has four commitments in its 2027 football recruiting class: linebacker JP Peace, cornerback Kamauri Whitfield, offensive tackle Princeton Uwaifo and defensive lineman Kadin Fife.
