MSU football to reportedly host highly-coveted TE prospect from South Dakota

Michigan State football will reportedly host a tight end prospect picking up a lot of interest on the recruiting trail for a visit this spring.
Drake Mikkelsen of Lennox, S.D. will reportedly visit Michigan Sate during the spring, according to 247Sports recruiting insider Allen Trieu. He is also set to visit Iowa State, and is working to set up visits with Kansas State, Minnesota and Colorado State.
Mikkelsen is listed at 6-foot-5 and 205 pounds, and plays for Lennox – 01. He currently is unranked at this time on 247Sports, but has still picked up a number of offers from big-time schools.
According to 247Sports, Michigan State is one of nearly 10 schools to already offer Mikkelsen. He also holds offers from Iowa State, Kansas State, Minnesota, Colorado State, South Dakota and South Dakota State.
Lennox (SD) TE Drake Mikkelsen has spring visits set to Michigan State and Iowa State now.
Trips to Kansas State, Minnesota and Colorado State are in the works.
