Michigan State football has made a splash in the 2026 recruiting class, flipping a local recruit in favor of MSU.

Hudson Aultman, a Delaware (OH) native, made the move to commit to Michigan State. Previously, he was committed to Miami (OH). Credit defensive line coach Legi Suiaunoa with the recruiting win.

Attending Olentangy Berlin High School, Aultman thrived as a 6-foot-4, 295 pound defensive tackle. This past season, he accumulated 46 tackles, 13 tackles for loss and two sacks. A 3-star prospect, the 247Sports composite rankings has him at an 86 rated player.

Buffalo, Kent State, Miami (OH), Toledo, USF and Western Michigan all offered the now Michigan State commit.

Despite the uncertainty with the coaching staff, a local Ohio making this move to secure a spot in the Big Ten, at a local school, makes a ton of sense.
