MANHATTAN — Kansas State football didn’t play last week, but that hasn’t stopped the bowl projections from hypothesizing where the Wildcats play in the postseason … if they qualify.

K-State needs to win two more games when there are three more to go in order to become bowl-eligible. The Wildcats play at Oklahoma State and Utah before concluding the regular season at home against Colorado.

ESPN Analytics gives the Wildcats a 77.9% chance of reaching six wins. Their matchup with Oklahoma State and Colorado are the most winnable, while the trip to Utah will be a taller task.

A bowl appearance would be Kansas State‘s fifth consecutive and sixth in its seven seasons under coach Chris Klieman.

Here are the latest bowl projections for the Wildcats after their idle week:

CBS Sports: Independence Bowl

CBS Sports projects Kansas State to the Independence Bowl against Louisiana Tech, which would take place on Dec. 30 in Shreveport, Louisiana.

ESPN: Armed Forces Bowl

ESPN’s Kyle Bonagura has the Wildcats playing against Navy in the Lockheed Martin Armed Forces Bowl in Fort Worth, Texas, on Jan. 2.

ESPN: Liberty Bowl

The Athletic: Independence Bowl
