Deion Sanders, Colorado Receive Unexpected Offer After College Football Season

There’s a chance the Colorado football program will have a new patch on its jerseys for the 2026 college football season.

Buffalo Wild Wings pitched a sponsored patch to the Colorado program in a viral post on X, following Arkansas’ announcement of a new jersey patch sponsorship with Tyson Foods. That deal will be for five years.

Colorado hasn’t announced a jersey patch deal for the 2026 season, but this pitch from Buffalo Wild Wings seems pretty enticing.

Colorado is coming off a tough 2025 season, finishing with a 3-9 record. It was a massive step back from a 9-4 2024 season under head coach Deion Sanders.

The 2026 season will be his fourth season at the helm after taking over the program ahead of the 2023 season. He has a 16-21 overall record heading into 2026.

He will try to turn the Bufaloes around when their 2026 season starts on Sept. 3 against the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. They’ll play two more non-conference games after that game against the Yellow Jackets before ending the season with nine games against Big 12 teams.

Colorado currently has the No. 57 recruiting class fo 2027 per 247Sports, but it’s because the program only has one commit (three-star Davon Dericho). He committed to the program last month. That’s going to change as the year goes on.

Until then, let’s see if the offer from Buffalo Wild Wings goes anywhere with the offer.
