Michigan football makes decision on Sherrone Moore’s alleged mistress

Sherrone Moore’s Michigan Wolverines tenure ended under odd circumstances, and his alleged mistress appears to also be out of a job with the college football program.

Michigan underwent massive changes before the College Football Playoff concluded in January. That included the school hiring Kyle Whittingham taking over the reigns for the Wolverines after a disappointing season.

However, TMZ reports that Sherrone Moore wasn’t the only Michigan staffer to lose a job after his alleged affair. The school reportedly won’t renew Paige Shiver’s contract following the serious allegations that transpired.

Michigan fired Moore late last year after his inappropriate relationship with Shiver went viral. However, the case got more serious when Sherrone Moore allegedly went to Shiver’s home and threatened to end his life in front of her.

Local police were called, which led to Moore’s arrest. Authorities charged him with home invasion, stalking and breaking and entering.

The former Michigan coach’s wife, Kelli, called 911 to report her concern about Moore’s behavior. Ultimately, she publicly stuck by Moore during his recent court appearances.

“He just called me saying he got fired from his job, and he’s in crisis,” Moore’s wife said (via TMZ’s report). “I told him that I love him and that I need him to come home, but I don’t know where he is. He said he was on a highway.”

Michigan continues to push to put Moore’s alleged actions in the past as the football team proceeds towards the 2026 college football season. Recently, the school made a viral hire to its recruiting department by bringing in bombshell staffer Skylar Phan from high-profile programs like USC and Houston.
