NORMAN — OU football landed its second 2027 commitment of the day on Saturday.
Interior offensive lineman Tyson Ross chose the Sooners over Kansas State, Missouri and Oregon, he announced on social media. Ross’ commitment follows four-star quarterback Jamison Roberts’ pledge earlier Saturday.
Ross, the 6-foot-3, 205-pound prospect from Andover, Kansas, committed during OU’s massive “Future Freaks” recruiting weekend as the program is hosting over 30 recruits.
He joins five-star Cooper Hackett, four-star Kaeden Penny and three-star Luke Wilson as part of a loaded offensive line class for the Sooners.
Following the two commitments Saturday, OU’s 2027 class ranks third nationally in Rivals’ team recruiting rankings.
