The TSSAA football playoffs have begun and the second round is set to begin on Nov. 14. But you can vote now for the top player in the the Nashville area for the 2025 Tennessee high school playoffs.
There are 16 players to choose from. Click on the image below to make your selection. The poll will close on Nov. 14.
Andre Adams, Antioch: Adams came into the playoffs 139-of-195 passing for 2,748 yards, 30 touchdowns and one interception in nine games. He also rushed for 746 yards and 11 touchdowns on 87 carries.
Nate Adams, Clay County: Adams came into the playoffs with 1,378 yards rushing and 14 TDs on 168 carries, to go with 454 yards passing, seven TDs and two interceptions. He also had 18 tackles and three interceptions on defense.
Matthew Anderson, Ravenwood: Anderson came into the playoffs with 92 tackles, 23 TFLs, seven pass breakups, one defensive touchdown, one interception, five forced fumbles and five sacks through nine games.
Kamari Blair, Kirkwood: Blair, a Tennessee commitment, entered the playoffs grading out at 91% as an offensive tackle with 77 pancake blocks. He had 36 tackles, 14 TFLs and six sacks on defense.
Kesean Bowman, Brentwood Academy: The five-star receiver, and former Oregon commit, entered the playoffs with 36 catches for 530 yards and 11 touchdowns.
Owen Cabell, CPA: The Alabama commitment had 35 catches for 616 yards and six touchdowns and 1,073 all-purpose yards entering the playoffs. He had one kickoff return TD and one punt return TD.
Bronzden Chaffin, Upperman: Chaffin threw for 1,868 yards, 17 TDs and six interceptions, to go with 1,157 yards rushing and 19 TDs entering the 2025 TSSAA football playoffs.
Jermaine Cobbins, Springfield: The sophomore, four-star prospect, entered the playoffs with 26 catches for 634 yards and nine TDs. He also had a rushing TD while being a shutdown defensive back.
Jared Curtis, Nashville Christian: The five-star Georgia commitment is 106-of-165 passing for 1,587 yards, 26 touchdowns and five interceptions, missing two games with an ankle injury. He’s also rushed for 392 yards and seven TDs on 44 carries as Nashville Christian opens the playoffs against Jackson Christian on Nov. 14.
EJ Gibson, Ensworth: Gibson has 1,431 yards of offense and 19 TDs through nine games. That includes 1,266 yards rushing on 185 carries as Ensworth prepares to face CPA in the DII-AAA playoffs on Nov. 14.
Zach Groves, East Robertson: The Tennessee commitment came into the playoffs with 58 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks and 19 QB hurries on defense. He also has 362 yards rushing and six TDs on offense, plus a receiving score.
Kaedyn Marable, BGA: Marable, a Columbia commitment, entered the 2025 postseason 150-of-192 passing (78%) for 2,706 yards, 41 touchdowns and three interceptions. He’s also rushed for 373 yards and nine touchdowns on 51 carries.
Quincy Mitchell, Forrest: Mitchell entered the playoffs with 2,392 yards rushing and 29 TDs on 225 carries. He also had 177 yards receiving and three TDs.
Drew Ray, Lewis County: Ray had 1,291 yards rushing and 27 touchdowns on 164 carries entering the playoffs. He also had 224 yards receiving and three TDs. He had 75 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and two interceptions on defense.
Omarii Sanders, Franklin Road Academy: The four-star safety/outside linebacker had 42 catches for 781 yards and eight TDs going into the playoffs. He has 58 tackles, two sacks, three TFLs and an interception on defense.
Craig Tutt, Oakland: The Ole Miss commitment came into the playoffs with 734 total yards and nine TDs, including three punts returned for TDs. He had 21 tackles, four TFLs, two sacks, one QB hurry and four passes defended on defense.
