Vote for the Augusta-area high school Athlete of the Week

With football gearing up for the playoffs, the only sport that was in action this past week was flag football. But no worries, the girls held it down on the football field, and now it's your chance to vote for the athlete of the week from Nov. 2-9.

Below are the nominees for the Athlete of the Week from this week's action. The poll will be open until Sunday, Nov. 16 at 5 p.m.

Addisen Odom, Greenbrier Flag Football

The sophomore threw for 184 passing yards and three touchdowns.

Aaliyah Silver, Greenbrier Flag Football

The senior had 74 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Lexi Lacey, Greenbrier Flag Football

The senior contributed 21 receiving yards and she also scored a touchdown.

Simiyah Harper, Davidson Flag Football

The senior went off for 182 rushing yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Tessa Wise, Davidson Flag Football

The sophomore quarterback threw for 85 passing yards while also putting three touchdowns on the board.

Taylor Chilton, Davidson Flag Football

The senior had 30 receiving yards and a touchdown

Saniyah Smith, Grovetown Flag Football

The senior had nine sacks against the opposing quarterback, while also adding three QB hurries as well.

Kaitlyn Tansiel, Grovetown Flag Football

The senior intercepted a pass and took it back for 60 yards afterwards.
