Michigan football has flipped yet another linebacker prospect.
Kaden Catchings, a three-star who originally committed to Liberty, then flipped in October to South Florida, pledged to join the Wolverines on Tuesday, Nov. 11. He follows in the footsteps of Aden Reeder, a three-star linebacker who flipped from Wisconsin to U-M last week.
Catchings and Reeder join Markel Dabney, a three-star from Virginia, as linebacker commits for Michigan’s class of 2026.
Catchings, a 6-foot-2 and 220-pound prospect from Flowood, Mississippi (Hartfield Academy), is the lowest rated recruit to join the Wolverines according to 247Sports composite rankings, rated No. 40 in Mississippi, No. 109 among all linebackers in the country and No. 1,377 overall in the class.
Catchings held offers from Ole Miss and Memphis, among others.
Michigan now has 24 commits in its 2026 class, rated No. 10 in the nation on the 247Sports composite rankings. USC (No. 1), Oregon (No. 5) and Ohio State (No. 7) are the Big Ten teams ahead of the Wolverines.
