Georgia Bulldogs offensive coordinator Mike Bobo is considered to be one of the top OCs in all of college football.
Bobo was recently named as one of the most wrongfully disrespected coaches in the sport, per On3’s J.D. PicKell. He is ranked as the No. 7 most wrongfully disrespected in college football and as the highest coordinator on the list.
Bobo has continuously received backlash throughout his time as the Dawgs’ offensive coordinator despite playing a vital role in Georgia’s SEC championship victories in 2024 and 2025. Bobo and the Bulldogs recorded an overall record of 12-2 last season, while going 7-1 in SEC play before securing their second conference championship in a row.
Bobo was a quarterback at Georgia from 1994-97 prior to joining the Dawgs’ coaching staff. The talented coach has served as Georgia’s offensive coordinator for 11 total seasons throughout two separate tenures, as Bobo was a member of former coach Mark Richt’s staff from 2007-2014 prior to joining the Dawgs again in 2023. Bobo was recently rewarded with a hefty pay raise as well, as Georgia’s offensive coordinator continues to shine despite receiving unnecessary backlash from much of Georgia’s fan base.
In fact, Bobo was honored as one of college football’s top coordinators for the 2025 season. He was the finalist for the Broyles Award that was on the offensive side of the ball.
Bobo and the Georgia offense will have to try to replace a lot of elite receivers from the 2025 season, so that will be something key to watch this spring. Georgia will begin the 2026 campaign on Sept. 5 vs. Tennessee State, as Bobo will look to succeed yet again throughout his 12th season in Athens.
