SEC Baseball Standings after two weekends of conference play

Through two weekends of SEC play, the Oklahoma Sooners are in a tight race at the top of the conference. There is a seven-way tie for first after their series win over the LSU Tigers in Baton Rouge.

The Sooners are tied with Texas, Mississippi State, Auburn, Kentucky, Georgia, and Arkansas. Florida slipped from the ranks of the unbeatens in conference play after getting swept by Alabama. Mississippi State earned a three-game sweep over Vanderbilt. Texas took two out of three games on the road over Auburn in a top 10 matchup.

Next up for the Sooners is a trip to Austin to take on the Texas Longhorns in a three-game series among two of the top teams in the nation and in the SEC.
