One of the top in-state prospects in the 2028 class will be visiting Michigan State this upcoming weekend.

Antijuan Wilkes of Detroit announced on Wednesday that he'll be visiting Michigan State this upcoming weekend. According to a social media post from Wilkes, he will be visiting Michigan State on Saturday, and then plans to visit rivals Michigan (March 31) and Ohio State (April 4) next week.

Wilkes, who plays for powerhouse Cass Tech, is listed as a high-end four-star prospect, with a recruiting rating of 93.93 in 247Sports' composite system. He ranks as the No. 11 offensive tackle and No. 4 player from Michigan in the class of 2028. He's also listed as a top 100 prospect, with an overall ranking of No. 91.

Michigan State has long been after Wilkes, with the Spartans being one of the first power four schools to offer him last October. According to 247Sports, he is now up to more than 20 offers, which includes Michigan, Indiana, Pitt, California, Louisville, Missouri, Nebraska, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.

As a prospect in the 2028 class, Wilkes has a long way to go in his recruiting process, but it's a good sign to see yet another high-level prospect from Michigan visiting with the Spartans this spring. It'll take quite the effort to land a talent of his level, but this is the type of player we want to see Michigan State go after under new head coach Pat Fitzgerald and is another positive development for the Spartans moving forward.
